My name is Michelle and I am a graduate student at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. I have Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology, and I am in my first semester of the Masters program for Speech Language Pathology, which I plan to finish by December 2012.
If you have read any of my posts, you may have noticed that I'm not a huge "technology" person, so you may be wondering why in the world I am even part of this blog. Well--it's Patrick's, fault. He started it as a homework assignment, which, as it turned out, this blog did not fulfill. But since he had already started it, and really enjoyed it, he continued. In an effort to give the blog a little variety, Patrick asked me to write every now and then as a "guest blogger." I enjoyed writing, so he eventually asked me to be part of the blog. So...that's why I'm writing.
My experience in Speech Pathology gives me a unique perspective on communication via technology as well as some interesting gadgets to discuss that are not common in areas outside of Speech Pathology or Audiology.
